Josephine trained at the C.G. Jung Institute, graduating in 1989. She was born in the UK and studied English language and literature at the University of London. She taught at the University of Calgary, Canada, for 32 years until she took early retirement as Emerita professor in 1997. She has taught for ISAP, and IGAP in London. Her lectures for ZLS were published under the title At Home in the Language of the Soul. She has published several collections of fairy tales on parent child themes.
