Prospective Student Info

In general every person that lives or works in Switzerland needs to have health insurance, regardless of their nationality. You will need to organize a health insurance within three months after moving to Switzerland.

Students with an EU-nationality may be exempted from taking out a Swiss insurance, if they have a European Health Insurance Card. More info here (from the ETH) and here.
